The York House Dental Practice is a small private business and provides excellent treatment for the local community. Being based in the same building for many decades, our customer wished to refurbish the public areas of the clinic on the Ground and First Floors.

Following several detailed planning meetings and the approval of layout plans and quotation, we were pleased to be appointed to carry out the project. The agreed programme for the work to be done was tight, divided into two phases and in doing so, allowing the practice to continue working during the refurbishment period.

Removing an existing partition wall situated on the first floor which once formed a store, a small waiting area was formed with an office at one end, including an entrance door and glazed side panel. Existing doors, frames, and skirting were all removed and replaced to create a uniform style. The refurbishment allowed for the inclusion of a staff kitchen and a new toilet facility.

On the Ground Floor, the existing Reception hatch which originally consisted of a glazed screen was removed to produce an open counter area, with security retained by the installation of an electrically operated shutter.

Polyflor Expona Commercial Wood vinyl flooring laid throughout the general areas produced an excellent aesthetically pleasing finish, which has good resistance to wear and will withstand the rigours of the practice for many years to come.

The Reception counter, desktop decorative hung panels and cupboard doors were all purpose-made with a laminate finish as required by the customer. The laminated items wall supplied by Stantons (Weybridge) Ltd

General redecoration, throughout the building, completed the project to the satisfaction of the customer.
