Office accommodation on the first floor consisted of four executive offices constructed using solid metal stud and plasterboard, forming the dividing walls from the Komfort Komfire 100 range. Frameless Glass partitioning created the front of the offices and included four full-height glass doors.
The glass walls constructed using 12mm thick, toughened clear glass, held in position using a 25mm aluminium channel and glass doors allowed the natural light from the outside window to flood throughout the central area and aesthetically created a very modern feel within the office.
Low height freestanding partitioning built within the remaining general area provided work stations and some privacy while still allowing essential communication between the office personnel.
These freestanding walls constructed using metal stud and plasterboard capped with a timber profile provided the necessary stability and perfectly fitted our customer’s requirements.
At the entrance to the office, our customer required the first corner of the freestanding partitioning to be curved, which allowed easy access to the general office area, which was formed using special bendable plasterboard on a well-designed metal stud framework.
Installed in the central office area were purpose-made desk units supported on the new freestanding partition walls. Constructed using a 25mm thick oak veneered chipboard, these desks matched the other furniture on the floor.
The first-floor office accommodation had a raised access floor throughout with electrical and data boxes at various locations, none of which suited our customer’s required office layout. Our specialist electrical subcontractor repositioned the electrical boxes and replaced the data wiring to suit the new design layout.
Decorated throughout with emulsion paint to all the walls and eggshell paint to the timber sections, our customer was highly delighted with his new office accommodation.
